He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hardisky and Mary Hlopko Hardisky; and his granddaughter Stacey Lambert. He is survived by: his wife Delores Hayduchak; his daughters, Linda Rachic (Sy) of New Middleton, OH and Diana Gorski (Ron) of Boardman, OH; his sister Loretta Yasher of Pulaski, PA; and his grandsons, Brian Pierog (Jodi) and James Graff (Ela). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
