He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Walter and Anna Gladys Boyer (Altman); his sons, Mark A. Boyer and Timothy A. Boyer; his grandson Mark A. McConnell II; and his siblings, Raymond D. Boyer, Mary E. Stewart, James F. Boyer, Janice Lewis, Wayne Boyer, Gary F. Boyer and Gerald A. Boyer.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Boyer (McMaster); his daughters, Diane Jean Dantico (Daniel) of Pulaski, PA, Robin McBride of Leander, TX and Vickie McConnell (Mark) of Edinburg, PA; his siblings, Delores McCurdy (Thomas), David L. Boyer, Barbara Pawlek (Harry) and Perry W. Boyer; his grandchildren, Rachael Merryman (Zach) and Christopher McBride (Kristine); and his great grandchildren, Lily Alan McConnell, Raylas Love, Liam McBride and Ahna McBride.
