It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Staub of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Staub and Anna Staub (Vogel); his wife Mary Staub (Klepach); his daughter Ilona Montefiori (Staub); and his siblings, Albert, Raymond Staub and Alfreda Alukones (Fritz).
He is survived by: his children, Paula Loomis of Edinboro and Gregory Staub (David Yeung) of Toronto; his son-in-law Larry Montefiori of Erie; his sister Ruth Ann Staub of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Maryann, Bradley and Bryan Loomis (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Maddeline and Gracie; and his friends, Leonard Flanigan and Jay Renick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held there Friday at 11:00 a. m. All CDC guidelines requiring face masks and social distancing will be in place.
