He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley S. Smith and Frances P. Smith; and his sister Pamela Deters (Fred). He is survived by: his wife Irene; his son Shawn (Tricia); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Shyloh and Samuel of Chardon, OH; his daughter Christy (Jake Rutkowski); his grandchildren, Grace, Gabriel, Brooklyn and Isaac of Novelty, OH; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob (Mikayla) of Sandusky, OH and Bridget of Vermilion, OH; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Leland and Kendra Rutkowski; his siblings, Charles Smith (Linda) of Eagle Mountain, UT and Patricia Smith; his in-laws, Terri King (Ron), Art Amos (Linda), Cathy Gabany (Bob), Linda Limberg (Bill) and Diane Erb (Jeff); and his close friends, Jerra and Trish. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edinboro United Methodist Church (113 High St, Edinboro, PA 16412). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
