He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sheffer and Gladys Sheffer; and his nephew John Sheffer. He is survived by: his spouse Judith Ann Merchant; his son Brian Sheffer (Natalie) of Nathalie, VA; his siblings, Jack Sheffer (Judy) and Betty Borland; and also, Brenda Wright (Dean) of Edinboro, Owen, Brandon, Morgan, Brianna and Samantha.
