He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephriam Whiteman and Pauline Whiteman; his sons, Brian Whiteman, Patrick Nicolia and Aaron Schaffer; and his siblings, Ephriam, Eugene, Edward, Arnold Whiteman, Dorothy Beecham, Margaret Sheppard and Dem Zerby.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Whiteman; his children, Mark Nicolia (Crissy Gordon) of Cambridge Springs and Stacey DeFoy (Artie) of Edinboro; his brother Robert Whiteman of Port Richie, FL; his grandchildren, Bryan Nicolia (Brooke), Briana Suprynowicz (Brandon), Patrick Nicolia (Taylor), Gregory Nicolia (Natalie), Amber Nicolia (Dalton), AJ DeFoy (Lauryn) and James DeFoy; his daughter-in-law Jen Nicolia; and his great grandchildren, Eveylyn, Vivian, Bentley, Blakely, Scarlett and Carly.
