It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Isola Stearns (Edinboro, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Courtney Gillette and Thelma Gillette (MacMillan); her son Jeffrey Stearns; her grandson Brian Joseph; and her brothers, James Gillette and William Kenneth Gillette (Patricia McCray).
She is survived by: her children, David Stearns of Edinboro and Pauline Shreve of Spartansburg, SC; her sister Grace Gillette; her grandchildren, Tiffany and Lexus; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Kayleigh and Sophia. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Anna Shelter in Erie, Pennsylvania in memory of Peggy Stearns to honor her great love of all animals.
