He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stachera and Doris Stachera. He is survived by: his sister Susan Krupinski; his children, Jeffery Gardner Stachera (Christiane) of Ellicott City, MD and Wendy Leigh Vodarick (David) of Leavenworth, KS; and his grandchildren, Jack, Casey, Madeleine Stachera, Anne, Claire and David Vodarick.
