She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Koman and Anna Koman; her former husband Matthew Hudy; her husband Glenn Shields; her son Thomas Hudy; her son-in-law Lee Bochert; her granddaughter Teri Banks LeGrand; and her siblings, Mike, Andy, John, Frank, George, Peter, Steve, Susan Koman, Julia Cykoski, Ann Lotempio, Mary Jacobik and Emma Cirincione.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Bochert of Edinboro and Dennis Hudy of Edinboro; her grandchildren, Michael Bochert (Heather), Tina Otteni (Sid) and Dan Hudy; and her close friends, Jan Benini and Bunny Buck. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
