With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Shelhamer (Edinboro, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ward Shelhamer and Ruth Bisbee Shelhamer; his sister Martha Collins (Billie); his stepdaughter Heather Bentley (Suhy); and his siblings-in-law, Margie and Jesse Koon.
He is survived by: his wife June T. Shelhamer (Suhy) of Edinboro; his son David L. Shelhamer (Karen); his granddaughter Morgan Shelhamer of Edinboro; his stepdaughter Michelle Overmeyer (Michael); his stepgrandsons, Aaron Wagner of Edinboro, Samuel Wagner and S. Navy; his stepson-in-law Alex Bentley (Wendy); his stepgranddaughter Alyssa Bentley of Edinboro; his siblings, Retha Kibler of Lake City, PA and Larry Shelhamer of Edinboro; his sister-in-law Sharon Lawrence (Randy) of Edinboro; his former wife Lois Shelhamer of Edinboro; and his nephew Earl J. Koon (Teresa) of Edinboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
