It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duretta Dawn Mahoney (Edinboro, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 27, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Dickey and Lillian Dickey (King); her husband Robert F. Mahoney; her daughter Pamela J. Smart Bowers; her son-in-law Edward Bowers; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Martha Mahoney (King); and her brothers-in-law, Harrison Mahoney and Al Kirdahy.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Scott Mahoney of Edinboro, Kim Mahoney Olszewski (Daniel) of Edinboro and Deidre Mahoney Snyder (David) of Edinboro; her grandchildren, Ricky Bowers (Nicki), Diane, Kara, David Olszewski and Elaine Dovensky; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Jackson, Brady, Luke Bowers, Landon Olszewski, Katherine McGarvey and Mila Olszewski; her sister Doris E. Kirdahy; her siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Mahoney Hendricks, Paul Mahoney (Harriet) and Tim Mahoney (Janice); her former husband Ford Smart; and also, Dr. Richard and Dr. Myrtie Dickey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
