She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Whitaker and Alice Whitaker of Curwensville, PA.; her husband Jack Allen Sloppy; and her in-laws, Fred and Jessie Sloppy.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Sloppy (Claudine) and Lori Buzzard (Donald); her grandchildren, Aidan Sloppy (Ally), Derek Sloppy, Marla Sloppy and Jacob Buzzard; her brother-in-law Richard Sloppy (Sandy); and her nephews, Brian and Andrew. She is also survived by several cousins and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (3108 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506).
