He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford C. Kestner and Wanda L. Kestner (Herron); his wife Sara Kestner (Scott); his son John Scott Kestner; and his sister Joanne Kestner Ringeis.
He is survived by: his son Robert William; his daughters-in-law, Jean Kestner of Emsworth and Alison Kestner of New Waterford, OH; and his grandchildren, Megan (Kyle Lowry), Molly J. Kestner, Aimee (Tony Montani), Kathryn (Matthew Bulanda) and Andrew Kestner. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
