He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vicki Duda Werner; his child Cris Amoroso (David); his siblings, Jan Shutt (Ron), Arch Werner (Mariann) and Sue Hammaker; and his granddaughter Megan Amoroso (Joshua Timko).
Joe was a long time member of the YMCA Senior Men's Club in Sewickley and had volunteered at Sewickley Hospital prior to the covid pandemic.
