Carol Furness Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2024, Carol Furness of Edgeworth, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles B. Furness; and her parents, Fred L. Buswell, Jr. and Evalyn E. Buswell (Post). She is survived by: her children, Dr. Bruce W.'Bryce'Furness, Denis B. Furness (Carla) and Heather P. Leeming (late James); her grandchildren, Jessica Furness (Chris Arensberg), Nicole Thompson (Chris) and Kobe Leeming; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Henley, Evalyn, Derek and Dante; and her brother Fred L. Buswell III. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, http://www.marinelife.org. which is a non-profit Sea Turtle & Ocean Conservation organization that Carol felt strongly about.
