William Swope Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Swope (Ebensburg, Pennsylvania), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Marcellus Swope; his former wife Mary Ruth Swope (Miller); and his siblings, Joseph and Helen Hettle. He is survived by: his parent Gertrude Swope (Nedimyer); his children, Leonard Swope (Joan) of Brownsburg, Indiana, Lawrence Swope (Virginia) of Ebensburg, James Swope (Denise) of Hastings, Richard Swope (Deborah) of Hastings, Cynthia Keefe (Thomas) of Hastings, Brian Swope (Mary) and Robert Swope (Sharon) of Ebensburg; and his sister Marjorie Dietrick. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Sisters of St. Ann, Ebensburg.
