With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Milton James Maurer (Ebensburg, Pennsylvania), born in Colver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Joseph and Florine Thomas Maurer; and his siblings, Robert Maurer (Dorothy) and Myrna Pizzino. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hughes; his children, Carrie L. Oswald (Donald) of Ebensburg, James T. (Jeanette), Jayne A. Polchito (Richard) of Mineral Point and Joyce R. Kirsch (Paul) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Nick (Christine), Curt, Chrissy Polchito, Lee Ann Daves (Bryan) and Brynne Kirsch; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Allie, Ava and Olivia Polchito; his sister Nadine "Muff" Kinkead of York; and his brother-in-law Babe Pizzino of Altoona.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Ebensburg Public Library.
