She was predeceased by: her parent Cosmos Elder; and her husband Gerald (Jerry). She is survived by: her parent Anna Elder (Strassler); her siblings, Richard Elder (Rosemary) of Hastings and Sandy Baran (Jack); her cousin Bob Ladenberger of Hastings; her daughters, Carolyn Ann Kirsch (Terry), Carlisle and Jo-Ann Stempka (Ron); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Kirsch (Katy), Jay Stempka of Ebensburg, Marc Stempka, Jacob Kirsch (Kerri) of Parma, Greta Stempka and Virginia Beach. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Lou's memory to Dauntless Fire Company, Ebensburg, the Ebensburg Area Ambulance Association or Ebensburg-Cambria Free Public Library.
