He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Emerich and Lulu Emerich (Trumbo); and his brother Roy Emerich. He is survived by: his wife Janet Emerich (Koch); his children, Gretchen Drass (Robert) of Dumfries, VA, David (Melinda) and Laura Anna (Daniel) of Glenelg, MD.; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Nikolas and Vittoria; his great grandchild Matthew; and his sisters, Diane Wetzel of Ashland and Faye Schaffer of Myrtle Beach, SC..
