It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Kassick (Ebensburg, Pennsylvania), born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vasil Derevjanik and Katarina Derevjanik (Strank); her husband Charles, Sr.; and her siblings, Michael, John, Nick, Mary Tenga, Anna Kindya, Martha Long and Helen Naugle.
She is survived by: her children, Charles, Jr. (Mary Furda), Ferndale, James (Sherry Kelley), Mineral Point, Melanie (Robert Buchan) and Park Hill; her sister Julia Witkosky of Franklin Boro; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Lamberson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
