He is survived by: his parent Grace Gillin (Madison); his wife Margaret Gillin; his children, Linda Gillespie (Dennis), Lucille Kordish (Bernard) and George L. Gillin (Rona); and his grandchildren, Michele Brown (Darren), Melissa Stoltz (Scott), Susan Morris (Brian), Renee Powell (Todd), Roxanne Miloro (Christopher), Amanda Gillespie-Twardy (Jason), Amber Harvey and Monica Gillin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
