Catherine Mae Makin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2018, at the age of 94, Catherine Mae Makin (Ebensburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Davis and Edith Davis (Davis); her siblings, Jim Davis, Elizabeth Lowmaster and Thomas Davis; her parents-in-law, Clarence Makin and Charlotte Makin; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Makin, Clyde Makin, Kendal Makin, Ray Gibson, Ray Lowmaster, Thomas MacDonough, Ed McCollough and Ruth Kline.

She is survived by: her husband James C. Makin; her children, James Makin (Debbie), Joan Ross (Jim), Ken Makin (Susan), Charlotte Folsom (Jim), Lu Makin-Byrd (David) and Kay Makin (Donn Dusack); her sister Naomi McCullough; her siblings-in-law, Ned Makin, Mathilda Dickson and Robert Makin (Ann); and also Ruth Makin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Conemaugh Regional Hospice for the Hospice Promise Foundation.
