She is survived by: her children, William Gress Jr. (Dream), Shirlann Hovis (David) and Michelle Stoops (John Sr.); her grandchildren, Christina Colantoni (Michael), Julie Smolnik (Mike), Michael Travis (Ashley), Tami Ritenour (Adam), Stacy-Jo Stewart (Troy), Beth Frampton (Phil), John Stoops Jr. and Kaitlyn Hovis; and her brother William H. Staib Jr..
Joann E. Gress, 82, lost her battle with dementia and Alzheimer's disease on February 12, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones and the caring staff of Grove Manor in Groce City.
