He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Elm Sr. and Elizabeth Davis Shoup; his spouse Beverly Phyllis Shoup; and his son Lawrence Randy Shoup. He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jerry" Shoup (Terry) of Gibsonia, Kathy McKenna (Tom) of Montana and Patricia Cotton of California; and his daughter-in-law Suzi Shoup.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Foxburg Free Library in his honor.
