She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence M. Polm and Mary Elizabeth Borchert Polm; and her husband Charles Laverne Ruth. She is survived by: her son William Ruth of Eau Claire; her sisters, Dolores Grove of Eau Claire, Cathryn Blauser of Parker and Elizabeth Deal of Eau Claire; her sister-in-law Helen Polm of Eau Claire; and her brothers, Charles E. and William E. Polm.
