He is survived by: his wife Mildred J. Carter (Washington); and his sons, Eddie Patterson (Ruth) of Charlestown, NH, Delano Carter of Allentown, PA and Terry Carter (Sheilia) of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
