He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Thumm and Josephine Thumm (Healy). He is survived by: his siblings, William Thumm and Nancy Lee Knecht; and his nieces and nephews, Jon David Knecht, Ann Marie Potter, Noel Brady, Karin Eanes, Erik Yark and Traci Heerlein.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the All Faiths Cemetery (67-29 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
