He was predeceased by: his parents, James Denson and Tessie Denson; his siblings, James Denson Jr. and Gloria Williams (Denson); and his son Dennis "Craig" Rutt.
He is survived by: his children, Lakeisha Williams, Stephen Guzzo, Takeia Guzzo, Nicholas Guzzo and Nichole Bealer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
