Richard A. LaPorte Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. LaPorte (Easton, Pennsylvania), born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel LaPorte and Kathryn LaPorte; his brother Andrew LaPorte; and his uncle Richard "Dick" LaPorte. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne LaPorte (NJ); his daughters, Jessica Allman-LaPorte (Jennifer) and Danielle Zangakis (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Silas, Ezekiel and Cassian; his siblings, Jack LaPorte (Nancy), Kathy Brzyski (Steve) and Erin Golden; and his pets, Kato and Tessie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Richard's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart.
