He was predeceased by: his parents, Socrates Zavitsanos and Angelica Zavitsanos (Xanthopoulos); his wife Xanthe (Karanikas); and his sister Katherine Pappas. He is survived by: his daughters, Katherine Vayda (James Vannatta) of Williams Twp and Athena Gilio (Michael Gilio) of Breinigsville, PA; his grandchildren, Melissa Tripp (Christopher Tripp), David Gilio and Christopher Gilio; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Dominic.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society (c/o the church) in memory of his wife.
