Matthew C. Hood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2024, at the age of 72, Matthew C. Hood of Easton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Matthew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Hood Sr. and Constance C. Hood. He is survived by: his significant other Eileen Waldenmayer; his son Christopher of Philadelphia; his brothers, John M. Hood Jr. of Long Pond and Timothy M. Hood (Shirley) of Pen Argyl; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Hood (Kristy), Nathan Hood (Alexis), Micaela Hood and Katelyn Denton (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Eaton Church (7277 Mount Eaton Road, Saylorsburg, PA 18353).
