She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard R. Hoffert and Mary Hoffert (Banfy); her husband Ralph C. Smith; and her siblings, Joan Remaley and Willard "Sonny" Hoffert.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary "Penny" Haverstock of Wilson Borough; her grandson Jerry Jordan of Easton; and her sister-in-law Mary "Jenny" Pulli (John) of Richmond, VA.
