He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Diehl and Emma Diehl (Hoffert); his wife Lorraine (Buttner); his children, Douglas Diehl (Kerry) of Williams Township, Michele Mohr (Alan) of Zionsville, Lorrene Walters (Ronald) of West Easton, Walter Diehl (Sharon) of Williams Township, Richard and Lawrence Diehl, Jr.; and his siblings, Herman H., Frederick H. Jr., Russell J. "Chub" Diehl and Pauline Yohn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (2101 Northampton St, Easton, PA 18042). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
