She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer P. and Mary Y. Sharkey (Price); her husband John E. Gum; her daughter Carol A. Daneels; and her brothers, James L. Sharkey, Robert F. Sharkey and Phillip S. Sharkey.

She is survived by: her son John P. Gum; and her granddaughters, Melinda C. Gum (Patrick I. Cunningham) and Lora L. Gum.
