He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wertman and Florence Gerber (Grube); his former wife Marion Gerber (Heckler); his stepson Todd Rogers; and his sister Arlene Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Whildin-Gerber (Fulmer); his son Rev. David Gerber (Doris) of Queens, NY; and his stepchildren, Deborah Sanders (Mark) of Selbyville, DE, Mark Rogers (Eliana) and Patricia Youssef (Michael) of Easton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Ascend Hospice.
