She was predeceased by: her parents, Chuong Van Tran and Ba Thi Tran; and her son Van Tran. She is survived by: her son Hieu Nguyen (Sarah); her close friend George Wolfe; and her brother Thanh Kim Tran. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
