He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Hammell and Beulah Mae Hammell; and his stepmother AnneMarie Hammell. He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Fialk; his siblings, Patricia Kashtock, Jacqueline Catalano, Cynthia Hammell, William Hammell and Timothy Hammell; and also, Tatiana, Isaiah and Raileigh.
