It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Burwell of Easton, Pennsylvania, born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lee and Elizabeth Burwell (Jiggetts); her former husband William Robinson; her husband Frank Barr; and her brothers, George Jiggetts, Albert, John and Bobby Burwell.
She is survived by: her children, Jamar Robinson (Robert Cook) of Carteret, NJ, William Robinson (Thomasina), Easton and Latasha Robinson (Chakhan Farmer) of Brooklyn, NY; her siblings, Andrew Burwell, Lavina, Isabel and Emma Burwell; her grandchildren, Destiny Adia Robinson, Ja'Nyia Richey, Ja'Naizah Robinson, Beverly Skyy Wright, Deasia Dorothy Hemmings, Jarell Farmer Johnson, Jaidyn Farmer Johnson and Jah-Mir Robinson; and her great grandchildren, Dryton Payne and Yiannis Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
