He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal K. "Ken" James and Gladys "Irene" Perdue; his brother Ron of Newcomerstown; and his niece Tedra Thomas of Louisville, Kentucky.. He is survived by: his sister Brenda Pauley (James); his wife Lorraine Lynch James; his nieces and nephews, Traci Thomas, Brandi Ramey (James), Jennifer Hye (James), Molly Lahmers, Robert James and Michael Mckibben; and his godchildren, Margaret "Meg" Walsh (Reardon), Timothy Frankenfield and Aaron Montague. He is also survived by his wife numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
