With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha A. Gonzalez of Easton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bertha departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bertha. Though Bertha may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustavo Sanabria and Cecilia Celeita; and her husband Juan D. Gonzalez. She is survived by: her son John Gonzalez (Wendi Lei) of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren, Estelle and Alaric; and her stepgrandsons, Robert and Leo.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (5740 S Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (11528 US-301, Belleview, FL 34420).
