We bid farewell to William S. Tonge of East Waterford, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 31, 2024 at the age of 94. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph S. Tonge and Hildagard Tonge (Rettberg); and his wife Mary G. Tonge (Mattera). He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Dunfee of Cochranville, PA, Cindy Ann Wilber (Rollin) of Cortez, CO, Angela Samuels (George) of New Paris, PA and Mary Kay Tonge of Port Royal; and his siblings, Donald Tonge (Sandra) of Chester and Elizabeth Miller of Concord Twp. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
