He is survived by: his wife Melonie A. (Snyder); his son Nathan P. Schmid of East Stroudsburg; his niece Isabella Snyder; his nephew Chase Snyder; and his mother-in-law Noreen Snyder of Stroudsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion or the American Cancer Society.
