With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maura Donegan of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Dundalk, Leinster, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Donegan; her parents, Peter Meegan and Mary Meegan (Barnes); her daughter Aileen; and her brothers, Dermot and Eion.
She is survived by: her daughter Siobhan Donegan of East Stroudsburg; her sister Anna McKeever of Dundalk, Ireland; her granddaughter Melissa Locricchio (Sigmund); her great grandchildren, Jacob and Nick; her granddaughter Kristen Thompson (David); and her great grandchildren, Emilee, Shane and Kristopher.
Burial will be private at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to the American Stroke Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 (www2.heart.org).
