He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Sybilla (Marsh); his parents, Charles Schwartz and Hazel Schwartz (Heater); and his daughter Deborah Davis. He is survived by: his children, Frederic Schwartz (Barbara) of Saylorsburg, Kristine Lee (Robert) of East Stroudsburg and Becky Hippler (Leonard) of East Stroudsburg; his grandchildren, Kirk Schwartz (Stacey) of Jim Thorpe, Kevin Schwartz of Eden, UT, Tonya Miller (Howard) of Telford and Larry Desko of East Stroudsburg; his son-in-law Anthony "JoJo" Davis of East Stroudsburg; his great grandchildren, Marcus, Sierra Miller, Melina and Madison Schwartz; his great great grandchild Chance; and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
