It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Earl Entress of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Jr. Entress and Althea Entress (Bolster); and his son-in-law James J. Dembinski. He is survived by: his wife Betty (Freuden); his children, Kathleen Dembinski of Stroudsburg, Kurt Entress of Pocono Pines, Kevin Entress (Michelle) of Margate, NJ and Keith Entress of Lowell, AR; his grandchildren, Adam Entress (Amanda), Austin Entress (Lisa), Ryan Entress (Rebecca), Kyle Entress (Magee), Jimmy Dembinski (Lindsay), Keenan Entress, Jarrett Entress (Kaydee) and Kevin Michael Entress; his great grandchildren, Noah, Adam John, Aiden, Landrie, Kaylee, Roan, Isla and Tessa; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Swaney of Pittsburgh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (http://www.pcflv.org (http://www.pcflv.org)), a compassionate non-profit foundation dedicated to helping children and families affected by pediatric cancer in the Lehigh Valley.
