Durney of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Samuel, Sr. Durney; and his siblings, William Durney, Marie Hartenstine, Jane Matarese, Samuel Durney, Jr., Charles Durney, Alice Strohmaier and Phillip Durney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen (Day); his sons, Jeffrey Durney (Jacqueline) of Stroudsburg and Kevin Durney of East Stroudsburg; and his grandchildren, Patrick Durney and Molly Durney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to either VALOR Clinic Foundation or the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.
