We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 91, Joan Marilyn Sheldon Voglis of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael A. Voglis; her sisters, Vera Piwnica (Andre) and Wilma Erickson (John); and her parents, Lena Sheldon and Walter Sheldon.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gottfried (Brad), Diane Balla (Robert), Nancy Dann (Roger), Michael Voglis, Tom Voglis and John Voglis (Elena); her great grandchildren, Aiden, Amelia Nieman, Adina, Elias Nieman, Everly, Jack Malenke, Niko Alexander and Izaiah Voglis-Burmahl; and her nieces and nephews, Jan, John (Lynne), Tom (Cindy), Clay Erickson (Linda), Helene, Jay Piwnica, Ifigenia Tsiftsi (Dinos) and Thanos Voglis (Maria). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
