She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Abel; her parents, Aulick Smith and Ethel Smith (Wooding); her daughter Gail Bonelli; her brother Kenneth Marvin; and her grandson Joseph Abel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Abel of East Stroudsburg and Georgette Silva (Manny) of Mt. Arlington, NJ; her sisters, Mary Lou Fischetti of Minneapolis and Della Scott of Baltimore, Maryland; and her grandchildren, David Abel, Rachel Silva and Melissa Silva. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
