He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen McDonald (Maley); his children, Ann Marie Grimm (John) of Chester, Mary Beth McDonald of Los Alto, Kathleen Ash of Hackettstown, NJ and James Robert McDonald III of Branchville, NJ; his grandchildren, Erin Flora (Erik), Robert Grimm (Dana), Michael Grimm, Emily Ash, Christine Ash and Daniel Ash; and his great grandchild Connor Flora.
