He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Townsend and Marguerite Townsend (Buck); and his brothers, John Scott Townsend and Richard Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Townsend (Robbins); his son Dale Townsend (Kim) of Hamilton Township; his stepson Christopher Balmoos of Millville; his grandchildren, Owen and Cameron; his stepgrandson Riley Balmoos; and his brothers, Doug Townsend (Donna) of Virginia and Robert Townsend (Donna) of Stroud Township. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to a charity of one's choice.
